• All kittens are sold as first come first serve, I will not hold a kitten without a deposit unless otherwise discussed.
• I require a $500 non refundable deposit to hold a kitten.
• the only time a deposit will be refunded is if something happens on my end.
• deposits can be sent through venmo, cash or check (though the check has to clear before pickup day).
• the remaining balance will be paid at time of pickup and needs to be in cash (no checks)
• kittens will not leave until 8-12 weeks old.
• I will not sell a sick or injured kitten (unless it is something minor and the new owner agrees to take on the treatment of said kitten), if you put a deposit on a kitten and something unexpected happens on my end, I will refund the deposit until the issue is resolved or allow you to put it towards a different kitten (depending on what I have available).
• I am always here if you have any questions and will help out as best I can, please do not hesitate to ask.
• and finally, I like to stay in contact with my buyers and love getting updated pics!  It is not a requirement to send pics but I will never complain if you want to send a million pics of your kittens, I will also probably contact you every so often to check up on them.

you will be sent a deposit contract to read over and sign after deposit is sent/received.

here is what the contract will say:

A deposit of $________ has been received on __________ from the buyer to be applied towards the purchase price of the above described kitten.

The balance due is to be paid on collection of kitten.

The buyer becomes the new owner of said kitten upon selle's receipt of balance die.

Kitten will be ready to go to his/her new home between _________ and ________.

The purpose of the deposit is to insure the buyers intent to purchase the above described kitten.

The above kitten is being held for the buyer and will not be sold to any other buyer.

The deposit will not be refunded if buyer is unable, or decides not to take the kitten.

The deposit may, however, be  applied to another kitten or be refunded (if no other kittens are available) should the original kitten become unfit for sale.

We try to place our kittens in loving homes in a timely manner, so they may bond with their new family.

If a kitten is held specifically  for a buyer, a change of mind can quite often jeopardize the chance for a particular kitten, that has been held back for the buyer, to be placed in a home while still at a desirable age.

For this reason, deposits are nonrefundable.

If the seller becomes aware of something about the buyer that would make the potential home for the kitten undesirable, the seller retains the right to cancel the sale and will refund the deposit to the buyer.

The kitten will be cared for until the arranged collection date or until buyer is able to take possesion of the kitten.

Should the buyer request that the kitten be held beyond the collection due date, a boarding charge of $5 per day will be accrued.

Boarding charges are to be paid in full prior to collection or release of said kitten.

Please pay remaining balance due with cash.

you will be sent/required to sign a sales contract once deposit is sent or at time of pickup (sending the deposit means you agree to the sales contract).

this is what the sales contract will say:

This kitten is health guaranteed for 72 hours from the time the kitten leaves possession of the seller.

It is recommended that the buyer take the kitten to a licensed veterinarian (at buyers expense) within 72 hours for buyers own satisfaction.

This guarantee is void if the kitten is exposed to other cats or the great outdoors before being examined by a vet.

This kitten should be quarantined for a minimum of one week before being introduced to any other animals (including cats)in your household.

If the vet identifies a problem and the kitten is found to be medically deficient, the buyer must contact the seller immediately.

The buyer has the choice to either return the kitten for a replacement kitten or give the seller the option to pay the vet costs to cure the deficiency.

The seller may still choose to replace the kitten and take the kitten, depending on the prognosis and treatment costs involved.

If there is a minor problem and you choose to have it attended to by your vet, buyer agrees to pay the cost.

Buyer is responsible to pay for any vet bills that are not preauthorized (i.e. initial visits and tests are not covered, even if something is wrong). 

The kitten is guaranteed to be free of any genetic diseases, including HCM, for two full years from purchase date.

Proof of genetic disease must be provided from a licensed vet at buyers cost as well as proof of up to date and timely immunizations of kitten.

If kitten is diagnosed with a genetic disease, kitten must be returned and a replacement kitten, of equal value, will be provided as soon as one is available.

If kitten has not been properly immunized and/or routine health visits have not been up kept, health guarantee is void.

This kitten is guaranteed to be Pk-def and PRA-B negative per parent genetic testing.

Proof of parents testing will be given to buyer.

If the buyer wishes a Feline Leukemia test, or any other test to be performed before picking up the kitten, the buyer is responsible for those costs, which will need paid before the tests are done.

Buyer agrees to provide seller with proof of kitten spay or neuter by 8 months of age unless breeding rights were purchased.

Buyer agrees not to give away/sell/transfer ownership of this kitten without contacting seller and receiving approval.

Seller has first option to take back kitten if it can no longer be cared for by the original buyer.

If the kitten is found to be neglected or mistreated (this includes declawing), buyer will surrender kitten to seller immediately.

If returned to seller, the kitten must be tested for FIV and FeIV at buyers expense.

Any disagreements resulting from the purchase of this kitten will not be published by buyer, seller or their associates on social media or any internet sites.

This contract is legally binding to all parties involved.

It applies only to the buyer and seller in this transaction and is non-transferable to other parties.

Signing indicates agreement to this contract.

Breach of contract will make all health guarantees void.

I do offer breeding rights at an extra cost, if purchasing breeding rights i have a different contract for you to sign.

If the kitten is found to be neglected or mistreated (this includes declawing), buyer will surrender kitten to seller immediately.

Cat is guaranteed to produce offspring by 2 years old.

If cat hasn't produced offspring, the buyer has a choice to either accept a replacement kitten of equal quality (cat will need to be returned to seller in this case), or accept a refund for the extra breeding price cost (____) and keep the cat as a pet.

If buyer decides to keep as a pet, proof of spay/neuter will need to be shown before refund is processed.

If buyer decides to choose a replacement kitten, all expenses of travel will be paid by the buyer.

Buyer must remain in contact with seller if cat is not reproducing and must notify seller if cat has not reproduced no later than 2 months past its 2nd birthday, otherwise replacement/refund is void.

If cat is returned to seller, cat must be returned with all TICA papers, pedigree, vet paperwork, proof of up to date on vaccines, currant HCM testing, genetic testing (PRA and Pk-def) and health certificate issued by your vet within 10 days.

This contract is legally binding to all parties involved. 

It applies only to the buyer and seller in this transaction and is non-transferable to other parties.
